Coach Joe Vimal Raj – High Jump Coach
Joe Vimal Raj is an accomplished high jump coach whose unwavering dedication and achievements in athletics make him a source of inspiration for emerging athletes. His journey began with a gold medal at the Republic Day Sports (RDS), which earned him a place at the prestigious School Nationals. Representing the School Games Federation of India (SGFI), he consistently showcased his talent, discipline, and commitment on national stages.
At the university level, Joe Vimal’s excellence continued to shine. He won a gold medal for Bharathidasan University and a silver medal at the Tamil Nadu Inter-University Championship. His outstanding performances led him to represent Bharathidasan University at the All India Inter-University Championship, one of the most competitive arenas in collegiate athletics. Further highlighting his versatility, he secured a gold medal at the NCC National Games (2001–2002) and a silver medal in the previous 2000–2001 championship, a testament to his consistency and all-round athletic skill.
